I love the lace and embroidery that you find in Europe…it is beautiful.
I feel the same way. They’re so easy to pack in a suitcase and bring home as gifts too!

I love handkerchiefs. I also bought of the island of Burano some of the lace sachets that are just gorgeous! I can’t wait to go back!
Lace sachets sound like wonderful keepsakes. Burano is so lovely and I’d like to go back there too!

That sounds like a wonderful memory! My grandmother used to do embroidery… :)
Wow, a lot of work has gone into those. I love the bookmarks they’re really special. Probably too delicate for me though, I’m a bit clumsy to be owning anything that can be classed as fragile or remotely delicate!
I really thought the bookmarks were pretty. And I’d buy one as a keepsake – I wouldn’t actually use it!
Even then I’d still find some way of damaging it, I’m the world’s worst! Perhaps you will treat yourself to one on your next trip there? :-)

It’s so hard to choose when you have to pack everything in a suitcase! However they fold up very neatly :)
