Quotes from the Masters: Bacon

Robin of Bringing Europe Home had a new quote this week:

We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand–and melting like a snowflake.” Sir Francis Bacon

It was a warm and sunny day in Zermatt, Switzerland when I took this picture during late spring.  But when I looked up there was still snow on the Matterhorn.  The quote reminded me of what I saw.
