Old San Juan

One of the most charming areas of San Juan, Puerto Rico is Old San Juan.  It has beautiful pastel colored buildings, cobblestone streets and an impressive fort that once protected the city.  There is a thick wall with guard towers that provided protection against invaders. Today though, the ships on the horizon are cruise ships, as opposed to the pirate vessels of previous centuries.

The buildings of Old San Juan are colorful and visually appealing.  The area is just right for a leisurely stroll or a shopping expedition in the local shops.  Have a look at the sights of the city.
