Reader Appreciation and Very Inspiring Blogger Awards

Before I went to Italy I received some blogging awards.  It’s always an honor being recognized for awards, and I’m pleased to accept them and pass them on.

Reader Appreciation Award

Rules for this award:

Link the award back to the one who presented it to you.

List six nominations.

I’d like to thank Rhonda from Help Me Rhonda for this award.  Be sure to stop by her blog for some thoughtful, fun, and entertaining stories!  So thank you again Rhonda :)

And my nominations go to:

cravesadventure

jayjaysfavorites

Writingfeemail’s Blog

Magsx2’s Blog

fun & fabulousness

Renee’s Revelings

Very Inspiring Blogger Award

Here are the rules for the award:

First, acknowledge and thank the giver, link it back, and put the award on your page.

Next, list 7 things about yourself.

Last, pass the award to 7 bloggers who inspire you.

I received nominations from two bloggers:  Amy from The World Is a Book and Hot Rod Cowgirl.

The World Is a Book has wonderful travel stories and beautiful pictures of places that you’d really enjoy visiting.  And  Hot Rod Cowgirl’s blog is a great place for entertaining stories and fine photography.  See for yourself!

Now, seven things about myself:

  • I like chocolate.
  • Since I don’t sleep much on overnight flights, I try to see how many movies I can watch.
  • There are only three states in the U.S. I haven’t been to (yet).
  • I like white chocolate (is this even chocolate at all?)
  • Rather surprisingly, I don’t like chocolate cake.
  • I’m always looking for a better way to identify my black suitcase on the baggage carousel…
  • I collect scarves as souvenirs.

And my nominees for this award are:

Sharing my Italy…The Blog

wings of wonder

restlessjo

Photographic Memories

Our Kitchen Inventions

Bringing Europe Home

BackyardProvence

These awards are for you to enjoy.   If you wish to accept them and pass them on, that’s great.  And congratulations to all of you and thanks for having such wonderful blogs!  Meg

  1. Congrats to you, Meg, for receiving both of these fine awards! And thank you for giving me the Reader Appreciation Award! I am blessed and honored to receive this award from you! I’m very far behind in handing out awards. I hope to catch up soon! ;)

  2. Thanks Meg for your very kind nomination. I will follow it up as soon as I can and look forward to checking out your other nominees too. Many congrats to you also.

  3. You don’t like chocolate cake? Isn’t that interesting…you just want the real deal! Congratulations, Meg! You have many friends from around the world! :-) And a delightful blog! Debra

    • It’s a mystery to me about chocolate cake – I think it’s the texture… :) And thank you Debra. I think it’s wonderful that we can read and enjoy blogs from all over the world!

  4. Congratulations to you and your exciting blog. And a great big ‘thank you’ for sharing the ‘reader appreciation’ award with me! It is always nice to have someone show a little love to your work. Thanks!

  5. Congrats on your well deserved awards! Just happened upon your blog this evening, and am enjoying very much! As for the suitcase and ID’ing it, perhaps one of your scarves wrapped tightly around the thickest handle would do the trick? :)

Aaahh, finally someone else besides me who doesn’t like chocolate cake!! I’m a huge fan of white chocolate but the cake is just too much for me! I feel like I go into sugar overload!
