Last weekend was an ideal time to be in Chicago. For one thing the weather was perfect. It was sunny and the sky was bright blue. I had to make a decision as to where I should go first. I thought that a walk along the Magnificent Mile would be a good choice. And it became a real adventure. I saw many historic buildings, department stores and lots of people. Here are some of the sights.

Great pics, Meg. Like your photos show, Chicago is the coolest of the old and the shiniest of the new. To describe it musically:well, the band Chicago embodies the soul of Chicago-the jazziest of pop and the sweetest of love songs-if you go there, it will capture a bit of your heart and linger wherever you go.
