I bought some of the wooden items while I was there. I was concerned the pottery might break in my suitcase!

Wonderful displays, I love seeing wooden items and pottery. The nice thing about ceramics is that the designs are often unique to that country, which makes them nice souvenirs. Safer to stick with wood though, as you say! Great entry for the challenge.

The pottery really was unique and very beautiful. And I think the next time I go to Italy I’ll bring along bubble wrap (or something similar) :)

I like the dish with the sunflowers in the first photo, very bright and happy looking. I think I’d have to take that home as a souvenir.
