Thank you! The glass in the photo faces the water, and it mirrors the surrounding area. I did some checking and this particular building opened just last year.
It’s been at least two, maybe three years since I’ve been there, but may be back in the area in a few months. Will have to check it out if I’m there. I think it is a great musuem
When we were there, there was a small group of teens wandering through the museum wearing Dali mustaches. It was so cool. I wanted one but they had bought all that were available in the gift shop!
That memory sounds just as good – or even better – than having the souvenir mustache! What a great story :)
Yes, but it would have been even better if I could have made my husband laugh by wearing one of those mustaches! He might have tried to look serious and “are you kidding?” but wouldn’t have been able to not laugh!
Great point – you’ll have to get one next time you’re there!
Lovely geometry and reflections makes this such an interesting shot :)
Wonderful!
Thank you Lorna!
Fabulous image, Meg. Love it. :)
It was a fun challenge – thank you!
Perfect example! :)
I was so happy to get the reflections on the glass – and thanks!
That’s a different way of looking at things.
It was an interesting challenge and I changed the original picture completely!
Love shiny faceted things. Great pic
Thanks Sharon. The sun really made the glass sparkle!
I was at that museum a few years ago, but I don’t remember this facade. Your photo is great. Thanks for sharing this photo.

It’s fantastic! There’s a lot to see both inside and outside (great gift shop too) :)

Thanks Suzanne – I was impressed by the number of images visible on the glass!
I love the reflection in the glass – great image.
Thank you – I thought those reflections were quite artistic :)
Very nice. The reflections look like paintings!
That’s what I thought too!
The reflections make me feel other-worldly, its a great shot!
Thank you Sam – I was surprised at how clear the images were on the glass panes!
Great! is this a big “ball” on top or is it the wall? In Figueras it is a big ball on top of the roof.
At this museum it’s on the side of the building rather than on the roof. It’s really fascinating to look at both on the inside and on the outside!
Great image, Meg! Love the reflections! Have a nice weekend!
Thanks Amy – it was a really enjoyable challenge!
Interesting image!
It was fun changing the look of the photo that I’d taken of the museum!
