When I was in Paris I went to the Jardin des Tuileries early on a Sunday afternoon. There weren’t many people there and it was easy to find a place to sit. I could choose from a reclining chair or a bench. There were lovely views in all directions and it was very peaceful.

Unusual chairs, did you feel you were going to fall backwards when you sat down? I think it’s great when you get big green spaces in busy cities like this, very important.

It was fine – the chairs were really comfortable and they provided an opportunity to look at the scenery a little differently… :)

I can only imagine how wonderful it is to be in this particular garden–a dream! The green chairs are unexpected, and do give an air of being in someone’s back yard! :-) Very peaceful!

Even in my little backyard at home….trees full of foliage, birds nesting, dappled light, church bells ringing in the distance…I feel so peaceful. My favorite way to start each day. Great photos by the way.
