Weekly Photo Challenge: Fleeting

Last month I visited Gatlinburg, Tennessee.  Early one morning I noticed that mist was swirling around the mountains and then a few minutes later it had changed.  Here is some of what I saw of the fleeting appearance of the mist from the mountains.

  1. That’s pretty amazing that it happened all while you were there. I never saw mist disappear that fast anywhere I have been. Great shots of the mountains and Gatlinburg and the surrounding area are so pretty.

  2. I love mountain scenery, it can almost appear magical. In fact, one of my favorite activities is hiking in the woods, especially if I’m going up a mountain. The fresh, clean air is addictive! Beautiful photos.

  5. Love the way you captured the swirling mist. We get the same thing many mornings on the lake in Maine. There is something about it that is romantic.

  7. The images are beautiful, love the mist! Funny that you are from Lexington, my daughter takes Spanish and French at LHS and she is fluent in Russian. Perhaps her languages will be useful if she can travel one day like you! Thank you for sharing! Elena
