CBBH Photo Challenge: Same Subject, Different Time

The Bridge of Sighs in Venice is a place where I have taken many pictures over the years.  Here are some of those photos from different visits and various times of the day.

  1. One of my favourite places in the whole world! I have pictures of my son at varying ages standing with the Bridge of Sighs behind him :) These are lovely photos, Meg – thanks for evoking such happy memories for me.

I’ll HOP over to your two shared links now :) Thanks for a wonderful entry to this month’s CBBH Photo Challenge – well done!

  2. Simply amazing to me that all these structures that have their foundations in water all these years have withstood the test of time. And the Venetians haven’t compromised the mode of transportation. Still teeny tiny boats !!!! Beautiful.

  3. You know there are some days when you think “I’ll just hop into the Reader for 5 minutes” and you stay and stay because there are some wonderful posts? Love that last shot especially, Meg. Ahh, Venice! :)

  4. Beautiful detail in the photos and I, too, especially like the last one. With all your travels is there one place that just places itself high above all the rest and makes you feel like you died and went to heaven. I have one. It just reached in and stole my heart. The first time I went there it felt like nirvana and it’s still the one place that I long to go back to. Kinda like the song “I left my heart in San Francisco.”

  5. Love all the different views. I do that as well and the better half says, “How many photos do you need of the same thing?” You can’t have too many in my opinion.

  7. Love Venice! I visited when I was 15, took a ride on a gondola and was serenaded by the gondolier. Would have been so romantic had I been with someone other than my Dad…hehehe. Regardless, we had a fabulous time and I look forward to going back one day with my daughter.
