One of the best parts about a beach vacation in Maine means the opportunity to see the sunrise. I decided to do this and I actually was awake and outdoors early enough to see it two days in a row. It looked completely different each day and yet I couldn’t say which one I liked better. This is the kind of research I enjoy and I’ll have to repeat it next summer!

I love sunsets where everyone just stops and watches but sunrise is special; a more solitary and rewarding experience :)

Both photos are beautiful, but the sunrise through the clouds somehow speaks to me more. Thank you for sharing … I don’t seem to see many sunrises in person 😊

Hard to decide for me, too. I think the warmth in the first picture, and the dog and person, makes that my favorite. What fun to keep researching sunrises and sunsets! There’s always beauty in them.
