When I was in England one of my objectives was to travel from London to Cornwall. In order to do this I went to Paddington Station to take a train that made that connection. Here are some scenes from the train station.
After changing trains several times I arrived in Cornwall. I noticed an interesting sign at the station and decided to follow it. After a short walk this was the view…
I like the Paddington Bear statue, although I don’t see any marmalade sandwiches. Perhaps he’d eaten them by the time he posed for the sculpture.

I didn’t notice any sandwiches (or marmalade) either – he must have been very hungry!

Of the few places I was in the UK, I was in Paddington Station four times. Why did I never see that bear? And I loved the funny signs in Cornwall.

The statue was inside with the shops and the escalator. This was my second time there and I didn’t notice Paddington the first time either. It’s such a cheerful statue!

It once took me 5 connections on the train just to get from here to Nottingham, Meg, and no lovely Paddington Bear to entertain me en route. (but my daughter was waiting at the other end, so it was worth it :) )
