It was time for lunch and I was looking for a place to get something to eat as I was walking along the Champs-Elysées near the Place de la Concorde. There were a lot of people on the sidewalk but if you looked to the right there were food stands along the way. As I continued walking I spotted this place that seemed to have a variety of things to eat as well as cold drinks and hot chocolate. This is what I saw from the sidewalk.
In case you’re wondering what was available I’ve included this closeup. I liked that there were hot dogs as well as crepes and even ice cream.
Look here for more information.
There’s nothing quite like a French crepe…mmmmm.

I agree – hot dogs aren’t what you that expect to see while you’re in France!

Based on the photo and your description of the location, I think this is the place where I had a crepe with Nutella on a warm summer day last year. Then we sat on a bench while I ate my crepe, watching the people and enjoying being in Paris. Thanks for bringing back a great memory.

I think I have eaten the crepes here…. so delicious. We just found one down the road here in Shanghai, a French fellow owns it. They are super yummy too.

Many places here use the same names, but don’t have the authentic taste or ingredients. So this was a great find… just like France :)

I am glad it is a little out of the way and off our regular ‘path’. I would be too tempted… and all those tailor made clothes wouldn’t fit any more! ;)

What a charming little spot. I had to stare at the sign for a bit to recognize that it really was French. Between hot dogs and panini, I wasn’t sure. :-) What a lovely surprise!

It was delightful and had quite a number of selections, although I’m not sure who would rather buy a hot dog than a crepe!

Awesome! We bought hot dogs for lunch from that stand and watched as they made banana and nutella crepes for other customers. The hot dogs were very tasty and huge, our order was not understood completely because we asked for two hot dogs and ended up with two double hot dogs.
