I just got back from a weekend at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I spent most of Saturday at a public garden and did a lot of walking to see the flowers, fountains and sculptures. It was cloudy and even rained during the afternoon. This is one of the things you can’t control when you travel! I had an umbrella and was still able to get lots of pictures. There were so many impressive trees and I thought I’d share some of the pictures. One of the guides at the garden explained that many of the trees are over two hundred years old. They had a lot of character as well as a stately appearance. I also liked some of the smaller, younger trees because they were fresh and decorative.
These trees look dramatic in the rain.
