The Travel Years

I began Meg Travels in August and this month is my fourth anniversary!  It has been so much fun sharing travel adventures from near and far.  When I look for themes over the years I can see that flowers and gardens are some of my favorites, along with doors, sunsets and signs.  I tend to travel in the spring and that is an ideal time to see fresh and colorful flowers.  Autumn is another beautiful season for watching the leaves change color, and it is still warm and sunny.

I will continue to travel so there will be plenty more adventures (with pictures) to share over the next year.  Here are some of the flowers, doorways and other souvenir pictures that I’ve taken over the past four years.

  1. I have enjoyed following your blog. Your ability to share the joy of exploring and traveling has been truly inspiration. I agree about the gardens. I just read a quote by Clare Ansberry that I thought you would like: “Gardens and flowers have a way of bringing people together, drawing them from their homes.”

  2. I started blogged the January after you did, Meg. You were among my first group of followers..it’s been a nice experience, hasn’t it? And I love your post featuring flowers – all gorgeous, and I’m really enjoying that green door!

  3. I always enjoy your lovely photos, and these were no exception! The St. Ives one reminded me a bit of Mexico, which I love, and I loved the pretty flowers from Prince Edward Island as I have always wanted to visit there. Congrats on your 4 year anniversary – looking forward to sharing more of your travels!
