I’d like to say it was a serious hike rather that a walk, but I was so busy looking around and taking pictures it turned out to be more of a leisurely stroll! For instance, I saw the Bright Angel Trail and all the people starting off on their adventures, but after only a few steps I realized how narrow the trail was. I quickly decided that the Rim Trail was enough of a challenge for me. There are guard rails in many places on the trail and I was always happy to see them.
Here are some of the views from these trails.
I wanted to see the Grand Canyon and keep at a safe distance at the same time. As a result of doing this I was able to stop, stand back and see views like these.
I’ve bene there last test and I steel remember my dall’ a long the trail. Wonderful pictures Meg. Have a nice Week 😙
Thank you Bea! It’s a beautiful place isn’t it? I don’t think I’ll ever forget all the amazing sights. Have a wonderful week!
Sorry Meg I don’t understand why my Phone change words.
So it’s : last year ……my walk along the trail. Have you never seen all my post about my travel in California? Really wonderful places 🤗
I just saw your post that included Zion National Park – great pictures Bea!
I really loved that travel I can’t forget my experience in the States
It looks like it was a wonderful visit!
Such cool landscapes!
The landscapes are simply amazing!
Wonderful experience for you.
Thanks – I’m so glad I made this trip!
Great photos!
Thank you – it’s a beautiful place!
Welcome!
Stunning! I would love to go there.
This was my first visit here and I already want to go back!
Fabulous views. I would be hopeless without a guard rail!
I felt safer with the guard rails. They were a good reminder to stay on the trail!
It’s a wonderful place! We walked down Bright Angel Trail for a while but were always mindful that we were going to have to come up – so not too far.
I’m so impressed that you went on the Bright Angel Trail – it looked really challenging!
We were still jet lagged at the time so we were up early and out before it was too busy. Or too hot. I think we walked down for about 1.5 hours before turning back – fairly sure I couldn’t do it now, this was 9 years ago.
You make a great point – you have to walk back too… You must have seen some incredible views!
It’s been a long time since I’ve been to the Grand Canyon and I have been wanting to return. I loved seeing your photos! It is a magnificent place and I hope to at least do some hiking! I, like others mention, always remember that going down is easy, but the coming back up needs to be carefully considered. LOL! I’ve had a few experiences where I didn’t remember that, and they remain good reminders. :-)
Thanks Debra! I was content to stay on the Rim Trail (it remained level and had some guard rails). I hope you get back there soon – it really is a stunningly beautiful place!
Level and guard rails! I like the sound of that. :-)
I could stop for pictures too!
I hiked there on a trip, I loved it.
That must have been a great adventure!
