It’s the perfect time to look back on this year’s travel destinations. For me it started with trips to Dallas and Philadelphia in the winter followed by Anaheim in the summer, and then St. Petersburg, Chicago and North Carolina in the fall. I was also in Italy during May. Here is a sample of my 2012 in pictures.
I discovered this market while I was in Philadelphia last month. It was around noon and I was getting hungry, so I walked through the Reading Terminal Market searching for a place to eat lunch. Let’s just say there was lots of food here!
There were plenty of places to sit down for a sandwich (or anything else you might want for lunch). And there was a variety of other things to buy, from candy to fresh vegetables. I had a great time strolling through the market and looking at the booths. Here is some of what I saw:
While I was in Philadelphia I wanted to see the historic places in the city. The list included the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and the Betsy Ross House. But beyond the colonial monuments, I found a really beautiful and interesting city. I took a double-decker bus tour to see the sights, and I also did lots of walking to see other places I remembered from books and movies. Here is some of what I saw during my visit to Philadelphia.
